My alarm wakes me in a daze,
And I thump it in its stupid head.
"Shhh... You bastard thing." I grumble,
I fall out of bed, rubbing my face,
And stumble my way to the loo,
"Fuckin' early should be asleep still, fuckin'... " I mumble.
The cold water shocks me,
The warm makes me sleepy,
And the colour of my piss concerns me...
I pull on my socks and shoes,
And make a cup of tea,
It steams away in the chilly breeze.
The frost bites the end of my nose,
My feet crunch in the grass.
And my breath fogs the air ahead of me.
The sun glows gold in a clear blue sky,
And the world feels almost brand new.
Like someone built it over night,
Brick by brick,
Tree by tree,
Person by person,
And suddenly I forget what I was miserable about...
By Looshkin.
